RABVIV-DSR combines rabeprazole, which reduces excessive gastric acid production, with sustained-release domperidone, which supports gastrointestinal motility. It is used in selected acid-related gastrointestinal conditions.
Used for acid-related gastrointestinal disorders where acid suppression and prokinetic therapy are clinically appropriate.
Take orally with water as prescribed, generally before meals. Swallow the capsule whole. Do not crush or chew.
Headache, nausea, abdominal discomfort, diarrhoea, constipation or dry mouth may occur. Domperidone can have important cardiac effects in susceptible individuals.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
