LOROFOX-500 TAB contains levofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic used to treat certain bacterial infections caused by susceptible microorganisms.
Should be used only for bacterial infections where levofloxacin is clinically appropriate. It does not treat viral infections such as the common cold or influenza.
Take exactly as prescribed and complete the prescribed course unless your doctor advises otherwise. Avoid taking it simultaneously with antacids or mineral supplements containing iron, zinc, magnesium or aluminum.
Nausea, diarrhea, headache and dizziness may occur. Rare but serious reactions include tendon injury, peripheral neuropathy, significant mental-health effects and cardiovascular complications.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
