FEXONITE-N combines acebrophylline with N-acetylcysteine. N-acetylcysteine acts as a mucolytic and helps loosen thick respiratory mucus, while acebrophylline provides respiratory support.
May be prescribed for respiratory conditions associated with bronchial obstruction and excessive or thick mucus.
Take orally as prescribed. Adequate fluid intake may assist mucus clearance unless fluid restriction has been advised.
Nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, headache and dizziness may occur. Allergic reactions are possible in susceptible individuals.
