DEFYN-MR TAB combines two pain-relieving medicines with chlorzoxazone, a centrally acting muscle relaxant. It is designed for symptomatic management of painful musculoskeletal conditions accompanied by muscle stiffness or spasm.
Chlorzoxazone is used to relieve pain and stiffness associated with muscle strains and sprains, generally alongside rest and physical therapy.
May be indicated for painful musculoskeletal conditions involving muscle spasm or stiffness, according to the doctor’s assessment.
Take orally as prescribed, preferably with or after food. Chlorzoxazone may cause drowsiness or dizziness; avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how the medicine affects you.
Possible side effects include nausea, indigestion, abdominal discomfort, dizziness, drowsiness, weakness and headache. Chlorzoxazone can rarely cause liver-related problems.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
