OVFLOX 200 contains Ofloxacin, an antibiotic belonging to the fluoroquinolone class. It is used to treat susceptible bacterial infections. It should be used only when prescribed by a qualified healthcare professional.
Take exactly as prescribed and complete the full course even if symptoms improve, unless the physician advises otherwise. Take with water and follow any specific food or medicine instructions provided by the doctor.
Nausea, diarrhea, stomach discomfort, headache and dizziness may occur. Fluoroquinolones can rarely cause serious tendon, nerve or other adverse effects. Contact a healthcare professional promptly if severe or unusual symptoms develop.
