DAXOMIN TAB contains doxylamine, pyridoxine (vitamin B6) and folic acid. Doxylamine and pyridoxine are used to manage nausea and vomiting during pregnancy, while folic acid provides folate supplementation.
May be indicated for nausea and vomiting associated with pregnancy when the treating physician considers doxylamine/pyridoxine appropriate. The folic acid component provides additional folate supplementation.
Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not increase the dose on your own. Doxylamine can cause drowsiness, so appropriate caution should be taken with driving or machinery.
Possible side effects include drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, headache and gastrointestinal discomfort.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep in the original packaging and out of reach of children.
