DROVEF-M combines drotaverine, an antispasmodic, with mefenamic acid, an NSAID pain reliever. The combination can help relieve pain associated with smooth-muscle spasms.
Drotaverine plus mefenamic acid is used for pain associated with muscle spasms, including menstrual and abdominal pain.
May be indicated for symptomatic relief of pain and cramping associated with smooth-muscle spasms.
Take orally according to your doctor’s prescription. It is generally preferable to take the combination with or after food to reduce stomach irritation.
Possible side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, indigestion, abdominal discomfort, dry mouth, dizziness and skin rash. NSAID-related stomach bleeding or allergic reactions can occur rarely.
Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
